Here are some tips on how to save you $ when travel in London, UK
- Visit the museums with free entrance fee - Museums like The British Museum, the Science Museum, the Victoria & Albert and other state-supported museums are free to enter, as they are F.O.C many will flock to these places to visit, thus, going early is the most advisable thing that you should do and if the nature calls, these are the place that you might first to consider
- There is a Parliament’ Question Time on every Wednesday, you can sit in the debate for free, but you need to endure the queue as the Residents of UK is given the right to get the tickets in advance.
- Entrance fee for the Tower of London – Adult: £13.50 Child: £9.00. You can save on this by going to their Ceremony of Keys which is a 700yrs old tradition of locking up each night, you can’t enter into the tower though. And a written application is needed 2 to 3 mths in advance in order to get the ticket. You can go to the website of The Ceremony of the Keys – Tower of London to get more information.
- Hampstead Heath – London’s largest ancient park. Some call it ‘The Lung of London’ You can take a walk or have a relaxing picnic here and enjoy the London skyline at the same time.
- The famous Hyde Park probably is something that you shouldn’t miss out.
- To watch a theater show in London is not cheap, but you can go to the half priced booth at the Leicester Square on that day itself. Good luck!
- Endure a few hours of standing to enjoy the Shakespeare’s at the Globe for just few pounds.
